Our commitment to you
Kindroot After Loss exists to support people during some of the hardest days of their lives. That trust extends to how we handle your information. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
This policy applies to kindrootafterloss.app and any pages served from it.
What we collect
When you contact us, submit a beta-tester form, request referral information, or start a hospital partnership conversation, we collect the information you choose to give us — typically your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you share in the message or form fields.
We do not ask for and do not want details of your medical care or the clinical details of your loss through this website. Please do not include patient information, medical records, or health details in any form on this site.
How we use your information
We use the information you share to respond to you, follow up on your request, and — if you ask us to — keep you informed about Kindroot. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Form submissions are stored securely by our form provider and by Kindroot so we can respond to you.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of service providers to run this website: our hosting platform, our form-delivery provider, Google reCAPTCHA (used to protect our forms from spam and abuse, subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service), and privacy-respecting analytics that help us understand which pages are useful. These providers process data only on our behalf.
Analytics
We collect basic, non-identifying analytics — such as which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked — so we can make the site more helpful. Analytics data is not used to identify individual visitors.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies and local storage necessary for the site to function and for privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to update or delete the information you have shared with us, or to stop contacting you. Just call or text us and we will take care of it.
If you submitted a form and would like it removed, tell us which form you submitted and roughly when, and we will delete it.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections and access controls — to protect the information you share. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, but we treat your trust as a responsibility we take seriously.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a revised effective date.
